Volume 2: Jungle
Jungle is a collection of Portraits centered on the alienation of poverty, drug addiction, and homelessness.
All interviews were filmed handheld by me between the ages of 17 and 19 (2024–2026). I chose these seven interviews because they shaped me. During each conversation, I felt the person in front of me from the bottom of my heart. Sitting with this footage was emotionally challenging, but looking away is a privilege the people in it don't have.
Sharon, Tracy, Al, James, Tony, Nicole, Howard, and José stuck with me. I think about them every day.
